It is no coincidence that the Father, our Creator, chose a word to intertwine both His unmatched love and mercy, and the place through which new life is created. Birth and motherhood were intricately designed by Him, and He longs to give us what we need to fulfill these roles well.
It’s time for women to thrive in childbearing and mothering again. I am compelled to fill the gaps, serving and empowering women by reminding them of their capability by design, caring for them at their most vulnerable and often overlooked moments, and carrying the “raham” of Jesus into every mother’s space during her fourth trimester.
As I’ve cared for four babies of my own through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and breastfeeding, I carry a deep passion to see other women walk out their transition of motherhood with grace and confidence. Helping to facilitate mother-baby bonding while insuring the mother gets optimal care and attention, as well as education for how to best navigate the fourth trimester and into motherhood, is key to changing the trajectory. It is a privilege to get to be the hands and feet of Jesus in this small yet powerful way of serving women and their families during this life altering time.
